The basics
HireByVoice is a marketplace that connects employers with virtual assistants. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 to use HireByVoice. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. One person, one account.
VA conduct
Voice clips must be your own voice and accurately represent your skills. Misrepresentation, deepfakes, and impersonation will get your account permanently removed and any pending payouts forfeited.
Employer conduct
Treat VAs professionally. No harassment, discrimination, or requests for unpaid trial work beyond the standard escrow trial week. Contact details unlocked through paid plans are for hiring only — bulk export or resale is grounds for account closure.
Payments and fees
Employer subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe and renew automatically. Trial-week payments to VAs are held in escrow and released at the end of the trial. HireByVoice retains a 10% platform fee on payouts. Refunds for unused subscription time are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Content ownership
You keep ownership of your voice clips, messages, and profile content. By posting them on HireByVoice you grant us a non- exclusive license to host, transcribe, and display them as needed to run the service.
No guarantees
We don't guarantee that any VA will be hired, that any employer will pay on time, or that the service will be available without interruption. Use it as-is, with no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with or without notice.
